The ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Institute of the Americas was established in July 2012, as part of the Faculty of Social and Historical Sciences. We are a leading multidisciplinary specialist institution for the study of Latin America, the United States, the Caribbean and Canada, and act as a focal point in the UK for students and researchers seeking to develop in-depth regional and continental knowledge of the Americas.
We offer the largest teaching portfolio on the Americas in the UK, specialising in social sciences and modern history. The Institute offersÌýsix taught postgraduate degrees, specialist supervision toÌýdoctoral level, and new undergraduate degree programmesÌýwhich includeÌýthe exciting opportunity to study abroad.Ìý
