Services and facilities

¹û¶³Ó°ÔºÌýfeatures numerous resources to enhance students' education and free time.

We are continually investing in our teaching, learning and study spaces, the newest of which include the new Student Centre and a brand new campus at ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº East.

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº has 18 specialist libraries with more than two million books and subscriptions to more than 35,000 journals, and historic material in Special Collections.

The ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE) offers courses in 17 languages, some of which can be taken for credits towards degree programmes.

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº is home to three museums also open to the general public: the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology, the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Grant Museum of Zoology, and the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Art Museum. The university is also home to special collections of archaeology, geology, ethnography, science and engineering.

Student productions and other events take place in the Ìýand the Bloomsbury Theatre Studio.

¹û¶³Ó°Ôº has numerous sports facilities in and around London, including full-size football, rugby and lacrosse pitches in Shenley in Hertfordshire, basketball, badminton and volleyball facilities just north of the Bloomsbury campus in Somers Town Sports Centre, and Bloomsbury Fitness: the health and fitness club of Students' Union ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

has a range of facilities available for students to use. This includes cafés, bars, shops, an events venue, a gym, and a hair salon. Students' Union ¹û¶³Ó°ÔºÌý also has a study space, with plasma screens, desktop computers, white boards, tables for group work and sofas.

Students' Union ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº

Students' Union ¹û¶³Ó°ÔºÌýis a registered charity that ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students automatically become members of when joining the university. The union provides services to support students, and runs more than 200 clubs and societies covering a wide range of sporting, cultural and artistic interests. Students' Union ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº also coordinates opportunities for volunteering in the local community.

Our central London location gives our students access not only to the best in entertainment and nightlife, but also to cultural and academic resources. We are close to, and have teaching and research links with, numerous leading hospitals, museums, galleries, libraries and professional bodies.
