Began your degree before 1 September 2009?
Your '@ucl.ac.uk' account will have closed three months after the completion of your studies and cannot be reactivated. However, you’re eligible to activate a free ‘uclmail.net’ email.
To access your email for life, you first need to sign up for an address through your . If you have not signed up for an Alumni Account yet, just click "new user registration."

Began your degree after 1 September 2009*?
You can continue using your '@ucl.ac.uk' email account for life, for free. Three months after you finish your course, the format of your email address will change from ‘@ucl.ac.uk’ to ‘@alumni.ucl.ac.uk’, but if anyone emails your @ucl.ac.uk address, it will still reach your inbox.
If you finished your course less than three months ago, please continue giving out your email address as @ucl.ac.uk as your @alumni.ucl.ac.uk alias will not be active yet.

* Please note that IOE graduates who began their degree before the IOE merged with ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº in 2014 would not have had a '@ucl.ac.uk' account. Alumni from this cohort are entitled to a 'uclmail.net' account.Ìý
Need to reset your password?
If you began your degree before 1 September 2009 (and therefore use uclmail.net), follow the prompts to reset your password on the .Ìý
If you began your degree after 1 September 2009, you can register your mobile phone number with ¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s Information Services Division (ISD).ÌýIf you ever need to reset your password, just visit the and enter your previous student user ID and the last five digits of your phone number. You’ll be sent a code by text message which will allow you to reset your password.
