Dementia: Causes, Treatments and Research (Neuroscience) MSc

Education about dementia is a leading priority of the Dementia Reserach Centre. Our flagship programme is the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº MSc in Dementia (Neuroscience), directed from the Dementia Research Centre and delivered by a team of clinicians and scientists who are international leaders in the field. This MSc course brings the latest bench-top research findings to the bedside, develops and integrates skills in the disease biology, clinical diagnosis and management of dementia, and equips students for future careers as specialist dementia scientists and clinicians. More information about the course is available here.

Working at the Dementia Research Centre (DRC)

The DRC is part of the Department of Neurodegenerative Diseases at the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Queen Square Institute of Neurology. We are a large, multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, and support staff who are working together to identify and understand the disease processes that cause dementia, the factors that influence these disease processes, ways to improve diagnosis and treatments, and how best to support people with dementia and their families. Our research is closely integrated with the NHS Cognitive Disorders Service we run at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Vacancies within the department will be highlighted here and will be advertised on the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Jobs website.
