Dr Laura Outhwaite speaks to Dr Jo Van Herwegen about how Jo's research into听special educational needs draws on evidence from听developmental psychology, education and neuroscience.听We learn about the听听which is听tackling听myths about brain developmental disorders that educators can inadvertently endorse.
The pair have been working together to study mathematical development听which led to the creation听of the Maths@Home app, which听supports parents to make maths fun at home.
