Restrictions
This module is compulsory for students taking MSc Light and Lighting. This module can also be taken by a limited number of MSc students from SBDE and up to three PhD students subject to there being spaces available. You will need to have some prior knowledge or experience of lighting, you should therefore contact the Module Leader to discuss your background and motivation before formally selecting the module. Places will be confirmed at the discretion of the Module Leader and allocated on a first come first served basis. Please note that we may only be able to confirm these spaces towards the end of the module selection period.

Description

In this module you will learn how to design a lighting control system to meet people’s needs in different environments and to understand the practical implications and consequences of your design. This is a structured design module in which you will be guided through the relevant theory so that you can make informed lighting control design decisions.
