Description

This module aims to introduce students to the field of affective neuroscience, i.e. the neuroscientific study of emotion. We will discover ways to experimentally conduct neuroscientific research into emotions and will critically analyse current theories. Topics covered will be e.g. emotion regulation, love and rejection, key brain regions in emotion processing and depression. Each week a speaker will present on their area of expertise.
