Description

This course introduces students to the test and measurement equipment and techniques that are used to characterise optical and RF devices and systems. It provides students with hands on practical experience both with the devices themselves and the measurement equipment required to characterise their performance via a series of laboratory sessions.

Student will gain familiarity with the operation of several types of advanced photonic and RF devices and learn good experimental techniques in optical and RF measurement procedures.
