Description

MSc Dissertation equips students to plan and conduct a research topic of their choosing. Students following the Architectural Computation MSc are required to submit a 10,000-word dissertation on a subject agreed with the Course Director and assigned tutor. Dissertations are produced between May and September. This module provides the opportunity to undertake a narrative review of published literature on a specified topic with one-to-one supervision by a ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº academic. Guided by your supervisor, you will develop skills in searching literature databases, reading and critically evaluating published work and presenting a written and oral report of the work. To help you find a suitable project you will provided with a list of potential subject areas and supervisors but you may propose your own topic with a supervisor not on the list. Self-organised dissertations must be formally approved by the dissertation co-ordinator.
