Description

This module will introduce you to entrepreneurial practice in business. You will learn about the skills and approaches needed to successfully implement your own entrepreneurial ideas and projects, and we will discuss new entrepreneurial enterprises in the field of contemporary publishing. We will consider core areas of business management which a successful entrepreneur must be able to negotiate, including publishing finance, project leadership and relationship management. We will also consider the legal dimensions of developing properties and brands and, in the second half of the module, look at some of the practical tools and technologies that can assist entrepreneurs today.
