Description

This module covers the theory and applications of audiovestibular diagnostic testing. The module aims to provide you with an understanding of the theoretical background, methodology and pitfalls, key findings and interpretation of audiovestibular tests. You will acquire knowledge relating to current clinical test strengths and limitations and tests in development. The module will cover adult clinical audiology including normal function and ageing of the auditory system, aspects of test techniques, detailed assessments and differential diagnosis in adults with audiovestibular disorders.

This is a compulsory module in the PGCert Advanced Audiology: Audiovestibular Medicine pathway.
