Description

SURG0213 module description: This is a compulsory module for nurses and AHPs on the MSc in ACCP. This module will equip students with the requisite skills for professional autonomy and accountability as advanced critical care practitioners. The module will teach the fundamentals of cellular physiology and homeostasis and cardiovascular; respiratory; neurological; gastrointestinal and hepatic; renal; blood and the immune system; endocrine and musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology.Ìý It will also cover the fundamentals of microbiology and infection control.
