Description

In this module, you will learn the fundamentals of data analytics with the aim of making you fully data literate by the end of the module. This will include understanding the basics of study design, data collection, an introduction to the main analytical methods and a particular focus on interpreting results and evaluating their robustness.

The module combines theoretical knowledge of analytics tools and techniques along with practical application. The practical application is composed of two parts: data preparation and analysis and results evaluation and interpretation.

The module will focus in particular on regression analysis, A/B testing and design principles.

At the end of this module you will be able to:

- Understand the fundamental of analytics in order to design and conduct simple analysis independently

- Ability to interpret results of analytics

- Assess analytics results and evaluate their robustness in order to make business decisions

- Reflect and improve on an analytics plan giving you confidence in commissioning analytics work
