Description

Upon completion of the taught part of the course you will continue on to your dissertation. The dissertation is supervised by a member of staff but is largely self-directed.

You will be asked to consider potential dissertation topics at the beginning of the Spring term. You can choose your own topic providing it relates to one of the main themes of the course, or you can choose from topics suggested by members of academic staff or industry partners. A supervisor will be assigned to you by the middle of term two.

During the third term and summer holiday period, you will complete your 10,000 word research dissertation and submit your work at the beginning of September. Regular meetings will be held throughout this period with your supervisor to present your progress.
