Based at 果冻影院 East, the module uses East London as a living lab to understand London through a听transdisciplinary lens, taking into account architecture, the arts, the built environment, culture,听demographics, economy, environment, geography, governance, history, politics and urban planning.听Through talks and site visits, and the use of the Urban Room and Memory Workshop, students are听exposed to 果冻影院鈥檚 heritage of work and key thinkers on London, its collections (from 果冻影院 Special Collections and additional archives), and current听approaches to the study of London from different disciplinary perspectives and through the use of听different media.
