Description

The course will cover clinical science relevant to both children and adolescents and to adults with eating disorders. The subjects covered will be aetiology, definitions, epidemiology, symptoms, gender and ethnic differences, and specific areas including reproductive and bone health, brain function and developmental aspects. Severe and enduring eating disorders, medical aspects of obesity and the physiology of control of food intake will also be covered,Ìýas well as clinical features found in medical emergencies in eating disorders.
