Description

This course introduces students to the study of international political economy (IPE). We discuss and critically assess theories and evidence on the political economy of international trade and foreign investment. There are no prerequisites for this class and students without a background in international relations and/or economics can take the module.

The course can be taken as a stand-alone module, but students are encouraged to combine it with PUBL0060 ('International Trade Policy'), as this complements the course by covering the regulation and international governance of international trade and investment.
