Description

This module introduces students to quantitative finance. That is, how to use mathematical tools to analyse and to tackle real-world financial issues and questions. Specific concepts to be covered include the time value of money, interests compounding, diversification, hedging, and introduction to the pricing of bonds, stocks, forwards/futures, options, and other derivatives.
