Description

The aims of the module are to (a) explore the literature on the management of projects and programmes, focusing on housing delivery; and (b) reflect on the practice of managing large-scale, multi-agency housing projects. Using a combination of theory-based lectures, practitioner-delivered case studies and site visits, this module explores key management challenges and good practices in the delivery of larger housing projects by different actors or through a range of multiple agencies. These include private developers, affordable housing providers as well as community groups. The module also reflects on recent changes and ongoing innovations that alter the delivery of new housing schemes.
