Description

This module teaches how lesion approaches can be used to advance the field of cognitive neuroscience. The module covers principles of human neuropsychology 鈥� explaining how patients with circumscribed brain lesions help understand the structure of the human mind, and the fundamentals of neuropsychological assessment.听The module may also consider 鈥榲irtual lesions鈥�, brought about by stimulating the brain from the outside. Lesion techniques in humans may be complemented by work using animal models.

Assessment:鈥疧ne 3000 word written report.
