Description

The module covers the following areas: (i) The physiology of motor control and the role of the Basal Ganglia 听(ii) Disorders of the Motor system including Movement Disorders and demyelinating diseases (iii) The neural control of cardiovascular and urogenital functions and their disorders 听

The aim of the module is to provide you with an understanding of the basic science underpinning the study of motor control, and its clinical context, focusing on the study and treatment of movement disorders and demyelinating diseases. Disorders of the autonomic nervous system commonly accompany these disorders and the module also aims to provide an understanding of the neural control of cardiovascular and urogenital functions, and their disorders.听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听
