Description

To be a successful scientist requires knowledge of up to date methods, and training their use, but also the ability to reach a wide range of target audiences via a variety of methods.

Science communication important:

  • To educate decision makers
  • To inspire the next generation of scientists
  • To inspire local communities

The aim of this module is to provide students with the transferable skills necessary for communication of science, as well as exposure to cutting edge methods beyond their chosen research project. The course will consist of seminars, workshops and discussion sessions.
