Description

Term/Schedule: An individual schedule will be arranged with your supervisor. This schedule can be used as a guide:
First Term: students asked to identify a suitable supervisor and research project of their own choice or from the list provided.
Second Term: students will carry out background reading before commencing their research in the second term.
Third Term: write-up and submission.
Term dates:

Students must complete an independent research project, normally with a supervisor from the Comprehensive Biomedical Research Centre at ¹û¶³Ó°ÔºH or a NHS-funded research initiative run in conjunction with ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº. Some projects will be subject to ethical approval and full CRB clearance.

Supervision: All of our supervisors are experts in their fields and happy to help you reach your full potential. The current list of supervisors and their research areas is subject to change and will be updated throughout the year, so do check it from time to time. Supervision cannot be guaranteed as there is a limit to the number of projects that one person can supervise effectively each year. Students are therefore advised to seek a supervisor as soon as possible in the first term.
