Description

Module aims:

The MSc HCI project gives students the opportunity to conduct research in the area of human-computer interaction under the supervision of a ¹û¶³Ó°ÔºIC member of staff. There is a broad range of topics and questions that might be considered, and students should work closely with their supervisor in selecting and carrying out their project.

A number of events are orgnaised to support students in deciding on the project they are going to carry out. Students are expected to arrange regular meetings with their supervisor to discuss their project work. Students might also work with organisations outside of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº during their project .

Project work is normally carried out on a full-time basis over a three month period during the summer term.

Students can normally expect up to 10 supervision meetings in total with their supervisor. Students are required to write a dissertation based on the work conducted during the project period. Part-time students typically choose to either complete their project work full-time during a single summer term, or work part-time on the project over two consecutive summer terms.
