Description

The Research Project will provide you with an opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills gained in the 鈥楻esearch Methodology and Transferable Skills鈥� module and the 鈥楻esearch Governance鈥� module, to carry out your own novel research study under the guidance of academic and research staff. Your research study may be an experimental, laboratory based study, a clinical study with healthy participants or patients or a literature based project (systematic review). In addition to learning new practical skills, you will gain experience in the management and co-ordination of research work. During your research project you will work within an established research team who will be able to provide a skilled and supportive environment. The research project will provide the potential for publication of your work at conferences and may lead to a paper for submission to a peer-reviewed journal.
