Description

COURSE OUTLINE

The module will support students to develop knowledge and skills in:

  • critical appraisal of clinical research literature
  • development of research questions and an appreciation of appropriate research designs to answer those questions
  • qualitative research approaches including, conversation analysis and thematic analysis.
  • single case study designs

These topic areas will be explored using clinical examples and research articles that demonstrate concepts well and are particularly relevant to Speech and Language Therapy (SLT).

The module will be delivered using a blended teaching approach (50% online and 50% lectures and workshops).
