Description

This module is taught in the spring term, students will each choose two sets of seminars, each five weeks long, from a range of options, each taught over five weeks. These options will explore specific authors, periods, movements or thematic concerns of related works of literature or films, for example, Psychoanalysis and Modern Culture, Chance and the Avant Garde, Queer Literature and Theories, Metafiction and the Novel After 1945, The Literature Machine, Contemporary Fiction, or Contemporary Poetry.

Each option is assessed by a 3,000-word essay submitted towards the end of the summer term.
