Description

The Systems Engineering Research Project Concept with its associated Report and Presentation is a compulsory part of the MSc in Systems Engineering Management.

The purpose of the Project Concept is:

- to briefly explain the purpose and importance of the Systems Engineering Research Project (SPCE0031) and to identify previous work that has been done that is relevant to that project.

- to demonstrate awareness of research ethics and the need for ethical approval.

- to describe how the research project could be successfully completed (a project plan), including the tasks anticipated, the relationship between the tasks and an assessment of any risks involved.

Classes will be held in Terms 1 and 2 to assist students in choosing an appropriate topic and to guide them in the general research process (including data protection and research ethics).
