Description

This module is available as an alternative to BPLN0098 STUDY ABROAD IN CITY PLANNING for those students who wish to remain in London and gain direct professional experience during their Master’s programme. This module is to allow credit weighting to be given to students spending a three month period working in practice with selected public, private and voluntary sector planning agencies in and around Greater London. Students will be placed with a vetted institutional partner and whilst undertaking these practice placements, students will be required to produce a piece of research, design or policy work according to the needs of the partner institution, up to the equivalent of 7,000 words. This work will be produced at the institutional partner but with appropriate engagement from the module coordinator to ensure the selection of appropriate live projects.
