Funding success for ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's Centre for International Child Health

20 December 2004

A consortium formed by ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº's Centre for International Child Health (CICH) and members of tropED, the European network for higher education in international health, has achieved funding success in the first round of European Commission funding, the Erasmus Mundus scholarship scheme.

The Erasmus Mundus is an EU cooperation and mobility programme of higher education, which aims to enhance the visibility of European higher education in countries outside the EU. Described as Europe's answer to the USA's Fulbright scholarships, Erasmus Mundus has two aims: to encourage harmonisation of European degree structures and to promote European higher education internationally by providing scholarships for double, multiple or joint degrees.

To find out more about the scholarships, contact CICH Graduate Teaching Programme Coordinator Ms Lorraine Dardis (+44 (0)20 7905 2673).
