The central resource allows staff to unload any unwanted equipment that is using up essential work space. Additionally, there may be staff in other areas of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº who will benefit from traded equipment.

Mr Alan Craig (Biochemical Engineering) came up with the concept. He said: "There is no longer a need to clutter spare space with unused equipment which may benefit someone else- just advertise it on REBAY. If you need to experiment but can't afford the equipment, try a wanted ad on REBAY."

REBAY is now live at the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº staff pinboard, a facility for ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº staff to trade wares, organize sports or social groups and advertise accommodation, among other categories.
