Link: ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Events This week marks ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº ISOC Islam Awareness Week, a series of lectures and events run by ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students.

The events are designed to give visitors an introduction to the Islamic faith and to Islamic artworks and artefacts.Islam Awareness Week incorporates lectures on Islam as it is practised across the world, on the Islamic view of creation, on the links between Islam and Christianity, and on the links between Islam and the Hindu religion.

'Exhibition Islam' is available to view in the South Cloisters from 9am-5pm until 29 February 2008. The exhibition incorporates many aspects of Islam, as well as a cultural food festival, cakes and henna.
