A team of ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students has won a national enterprise challenge in a competition featuring teams from a number of universities.

The ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Enterprise Society entered a team into a competition held at Imperial Business School called the Enfinite Potential Unleashed Enterprise Challenge.

The team consisted of five ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº students: Marisha Naz, Monica Jarpa, Amir Bendjazia, Laci Bicskei and TristanÌýPritchard-Meaker. All of the team members come from different countries and are studying within different ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº departments. For their winning presentation, they chose to analyse the financial micropayments industry and highlight entrepreneurial opportunities within that area.

Team member Monica Jarpa (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Management Science and Innovation) explained: "Despite not having met previous to the selection process, we created a very collaborative team dynamic and really enjoyed working together. We formed a very inter-disciplinary team".

Tristan Pritchard-Meaker (¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Biochemical engineering) said: "The challenge was very enjoyable, with a lot of strong teams in attendance. It was great to have an innovative and 'outside-of-the-box' problem to solve that really pushed us as a team. We need to say a big thank you to the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Enterprise Society for giving us the chance to compete. We really pulled together and - because of our varied skills, understanding and strengths - we delivered a novel answer to the question."
