Part 2 - One Day in the City

London has long played an important role in the literary world, and to celebrate this Nick Shepley and colleagues from ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Department of English have organised 'One Day in the City' on 15th June.

Featuring Man Booker Prize-winners A.S. Byatt and Alan Hollinghurst - and also Will Self - the festival includes readings, talks and debates, along with two exhibitions at the ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Art Museum and South Cloisters. Tickets are free, so sign-up and get them while you can!

Part 3 - Pot burial at the Petrie

At ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº we've got some pretty amazing museums, so over the next few months we're going to feature some of the wonderful objects in the Grant Museum of Zoology, The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology and the Art museum. This week, we went down to chat to Tracey Golding, Visitor Services Officer at the Petrie, to find out more about ancient Egypt, Sudan, and some of the wonderful antiquities tucked away in the museum.
