鈥淚 have had the pleasure of working with great colleagues at the University of Southampton, the University of Leeds and more recently at 果冻影院. This award reflects brightly on these great universities, and I am grateful to everyone for their excellence and their support and help over many years.

鈥淭here is still much to be done and I remain totally committed to changing the stigmatising narrative that surrounds obesity to one that reflects current scientific and medical knowledge and ensuring equitable access to evidence-based treatments for obesity.鈥

鈥淚 would like to give special mention to Shirley Nolan, who in 1974 established the world鈥檚 first Unrelated Bone Marrow Register in her son鈥檚 name, Anthony.听 I feel she would be very proud of the increase in donor registers around the world, since today there are more than 40 million donors worldwide.鈥
