The Academy of Social Sciences Fellowship comprises 1,500 social scientists from academia, the public, private and third sectors. New Fellows are recognised after an independent peer process for the impact of their cross-disciplinary work and their wider contributions to the social sciences for public benefit.

The academics elected to the Fellowship are:听

• Professor D'Maris Coffman (果冻影院 Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction) is a Professor of Economics and Finance whose research spans infrastructure, construction, and climate change.
• Professor Wendy Carlin CBE FBA (果冻影院 Economics) is a Professor of Economics, who leads the international CORE project to reform undergraduate economics curriculum and whose research focuses on macroeconomics, institutions and economic performance, and the economics of transition.
• Professor Sir Richard Blundell CBE FBA (果冻影院 Economics) holds the David Ricardo Chair of Political Economy at 果冻影院 and his research covers microeconometrics, labour economics, public finance, consumer behaviour, labour supply, inequality, household behaviour, human capital and tax policy analysis.
• Professor Imran Rasul OBE FBA (果冻影院 Economics) is a Professor of Economics at 果冻影院 and Director of the Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy at the Institute of Fiscal Studies.
• Professor Tejendra Pherali听(IOE, 果冻影院鈥檚 Faculty of Education and Society) is a Professor of Education, Conflict and Peace whose research focuses on interactions between education and conflict and post-conflict peacebuilding in fragile environments.
• Pro-Provost Professor Alison Koslowski (IOE, 果冻影院鈥檚 Faculty of Education and Society) is the Professorial Director of Thomas Coram Research Unit at 果冻影院 and her research focuses on policies and practices that can reduce gender inequalities, promote greater work-family balance, and improve family well-being.

They join 41 other newly elected social scientists from across the UK and around the world. This autumn鈥檚 cohort of Fellows come from a variety of backgrounds, disciplines and professions, and have made significant contributions to industry, policy and higher education.

The听Academy鈥檚 Fellowship听is made up of distinguished individuals from academic, public, private and third sectors, across the full spectrum of the social sciences. Through leadership, scholarship, applied research, policymaking, and practice, they have helped to deepen the understanding of, and address, some of the toughest challenges facing society and the world.
