¹û¶³Ó°Ôº Political Science and School of Public Policy began as Britain’s only department focused on graduate teaching and research and is recognised as one of the leading departments of politics, not just in the UK but globally.


With over ninetyÌýacademic staff, research and teaching fellows, we are focused on delivering world-leading research, innovative education programmes, and influencing.Ìý

Our tenÌýMasters degreesÌý²¹²Ô»å doctoral training programme offer a range of opportunities for post-graduate study. With over 1000 students, we offer one of the largest politics graduate programmes in the UK. In recent years, we have extended our teaching to undergraduates with a policy and methods focusedÌýPPE degree, keeping up with ¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s founding tradition in political economy. OurÌýBSc in Politics and International RelationsÌýdegree programme offers an innovative curriculum which will equip students with the skills to think critically, conduct high-quality research, and analyse data in addressing today’s global policy challenges.

In addition to our specialist teaching programmes, we act as a gateway between ¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™s world class research and the policy making community in Britain and internationally.
