PGCE Primary, PGCE Secondary and PGCE Further Education

Applications for PGCE Primary, Secondary and Further Education programmes are made via DfE Apply. 

When applying for one of our programmes search ‘¹û¶³Ó°Ôºâ€™ in the ‘choose a course’ section of your application or enter the training provider ³¦´Ç»å±ðÌý±«80.

The application cycle opens in October each year and applications are considered on a rolling basis, therefore you are encouraged to apply as early as possible, as programmes may close as soon as places are filled.

Once your application has been received it will be forwarded to ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº for consideration and applicants who are successful at the shortlist stage will be invited to attend an interview.

Early Years Teacher Training

Applications for our Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) programmes are made directly to ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº.

There is no application fee for these programmes.

The application cycle opens in October each year and applications are considered on a rolling basis, therefore you are advised to apply as early as possible, as programmes may close as soon as places are filled.

Applicants who are successful at the shortlist stage will be invited to attend an interview.

Transferring to ¹û¶³Ó°Ôº

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept transfers into any of our teacher training programmes. This is due to the short nature of the programmes.
